Bottom paint, etc.

What goes on below deck or under the water never gets any glory.... Karen thought I was writing a joke but I'm not. This year we performing several services, repairs & boat improvements as I attempt every year (list below after the attempt at humor). Keep in mind there are key differences in definition to remember between these terms:

Service: What you better do or you may put the boat at peril or future extensive cost.

Repair: You did not perform the proper "service" and now it's something you need to repair or risk further peril & cost.

Improvement: Something you do to your boat that actually improves the performance of your boat... and if you're lucky .... actually works out!

Time wise, these compete with the land yacht (that would be our house) but quite frankly lacks the view. Being married to four women is quite difficult but typically Karen gets the priority attention. When I do find time to escape Karen's "honey do" list on the land yacht, the other women get their call. They would be Aquavit, ludafisk (inter club dinghy) and the Laser. The Laser of course is last, she has no name and gets ridden hard and put away wet as they in Texas..... the way I like it!

ouch , dull thud to the head, must be Karen.....
